Should I give the game another chance?

I tried playing outer wilds before, and it just didnt hit as hard as people say it does(I only played for 3h). I really tried to like the game, but it was too slow for me, and not much was happening at all.

Im a very competitive player, usually thriving in multiplayer games. I find indie games really fun as well, as long as there is some kind of a challenge, for example hollow knight, or less “indie” titles like the souls like collection.

Ive been seeing a lot of content on outer wilds lately, and I kind of want to give the game another try, but im worried that I will end up disappointed again.

Whats your opinion on this, and is there something I should know that might make my experience better?

I feel like whenever I play I just get to a point where whenever I have Q3, the enemy just walks ten miles away so I dont have a chance to hit them and ult them, and whenever I do hit a Q3 and ult, I dont deal enough dmg to kill them. Im eme 4 currently, and I main Irelia, but yas seems fun so I wanted to learn how to play him

I have no idea how to play the champ ngl, I just cant win a single 1v1 in lane no matter what. Is there some kind of a spread sheet with matchups, and some stuff that I should know before grinding ranked
