I didn't know my Dad's Citizen (center) had lume on the hands, so its a pleasant surprise. I'm in love with the lume on the Promaster Dive, and while I wish the numbers on the Garrison were also illuminated, they'll be just fine as they are. A pretty nice contrast between this and another popular diver (Casio Duro), with how potent it is. Citizen blue lume is something truly special.
Hello all, G-Shock/Casio enthusiast here! A few months ago, I found out that my dad had a watch gifted to him from his work after 10 years or so, and it happened to be a Citizen. I don't know the model, but that actually inspired me to look into what the brand had to offer, and my goodness, what a freaking assortment!
Suffice to say, I had no idea where to start, but after reading some articles and watching some Teddy Baldassare videos, I locked in on what appealed the most to me: the Promaster Dive BN0151, and the Eco-Drive Garrison Field watch. Found both on eBay, got a great offer on each from the sellers, and now they're here!
I'm definitely going to swap the stock strap on the Promaster for a Zulu, since its a bit shorter than I would like on my beefier wrists. The Garrison is on the wrist right now, and it feels super solid. Can't wat to see what adventures await with these two pieces, cheers to all 🍻
