So I got drafted into running CotCT after my groups last DM got bored and I was talking about wanting to run it. Read through edge of anarchy and saw (I forgot his real name) blackjack and what happens in chapter three with him handing off his mantle and thought its cool, but how exactly do I handle that transition?
One of my players is a vigilante and anothers a rapier wielding warpriest (we haven't started so I don't know if that's the characters that they'll play but its likely) so I have a couple of options on people who could play him, but the vigilante wants to be batman, and i don't know what the warpriest will say.
So what do I say? The none of them know anything about Korvosa and I know they don't know about blackjack, what should I tell them before the AP starts? And once chap 3 starts, how should I handle that out of game? Am I missing something obvious because I didn't read far ahead? Oh
