I’ve just been made aware that one of my referees has changed job position a couple months ago within the same employer.

He was “Internal Communications Officer” at Liverpool City Council, which I understand to fit the “Local government officer” in the list of accepted profession.

He’s now “Corporate Engagement Lead” at the same City Council. (He’s adamant that it still counts as local gov officer.)

Is that an issue, and should I contact the HO about this change of circumstances?
