What’s up, degenerates.

> I’m currently on the bridge of a tanker hauling diesel to Asia and honestly, the world is ending out here while you guys trade options. Just cleared Aden and it’s a total mess.

> My ship is literally a floating fortress now - wrapped in razor wire with armed PMCs standing right next to me on the bridge (see photos). The weirdest part? We see Somali pirate skiffs tailing us and the US/Coalition warships just let them chill there. It’s like a protection racket or something.

> Talked to my buddies in the Persian Gulf today. To get a ship into Hormuz right now, freight rates hit $800k a day. It used to be $70k. Let that sink in... 10x jump. Those guys are getting 4x their daily salary just to stay in the zone because the risk of seizure is so high. Even the Saudis are pivoting, moving everything through Red Sea ports to avoid the Gulf.

> Also navigation is a nightmare. GPS is being spoofed or just goes dead near the coast. We’re basically going old school with a compass and a prayer while carrying $100M+ in cargo.

> Not financial advice but if you aren't looking at oil and shipping rates you're missing the biggest play of the year. I'm dodging pirates so you can buy the dip. Stay safe.

TL;DR: Tanker is a п, Navy is ignoring pirates, Hormuz freight is $800k/day, and GPS is jammed. Oil to the moon.
