Books (preferably nonfiction or inspired by real people) about artists continuing to make art during major world events/tumultuous political times
Looking for books, preferably nonfiction such as biographical, or heavily inspired by real people and events, about artists - writers, musicians, painters, actors, etc. - who struggled with creating art during hard times when it felt like the world was ending, but who kept making art in spite of all of the doubt and chaos and uncertainty.
