Im black and female and I feel l haven’t met anyone else like me. I know there short movies and stuff online and black influencers with autism but I’ve never actually met anyone like me in real life. Like I have classmates with autism but they assume that im faking it because I don’t have stereotypes autism special interest.(ex. trains anime animals etc). My special interests are movies, black history, other POC history, death, music, and racism. I know it’s partially because I have all A’s and I don’t stim that much in class (I’m 13). To also add more context I mask a lot and a lot of people know me but I’m not friends with them,I’m also in student council and teachers assume I’m fine most of the time when I’m not. I just want to know what other people like me through especially POC people.
