Broke down yesterday and worried about damage

I have a old 2003 polo twist (my first car so will be heartbroken if she dies) and she broke down for the first time yesterday :(

I was toddling along the motorway and my coolant light started flashing, weird bc I only topped it up a few days ago. Anyway i took my exit and as I was accelerating I was like oh why am I slowing down? Looked up and my engine, epc and coolant light were on. Stopped immediately and turned engine off. Started smoking, so I opened my bonnet to discover my coolant was a goner! (Smoke was coming from coolant area)

When the AA man arrived he said my water pump had fallen off and my cambelt was rubbing on my casing, said I turned my engine off early so I might be lucky. He tried to turn her on once and she made a not so pleasant noise.

My question is, on an old car like this, will this be a cheap fix? (If they can even fix her? 😩) I’ve always been told she’s reliable and her parts are cheap so I’m hoping that’s the case here 🙏🏼 I need her for work and cannot afford a new car right now, anyone here able to shine a light?🥲🫣

Edit: I found the report from the AA and it says ‘water pump pulley broken and cambelt rubbing on casing’
It was my first ever breakdown and in a proper dodge spot so I was soo flustered and stressed I must’ve over dramatised what he said about the pump 💀😂
