I'm a student in university currently using a laptop with an Intel core i5 8th gen with its Intel UHD igpu and 8 gb of ram. The laptop is showing its age since I've used it for years and it's a used laptop I bought below RM 1000. I know with a budget of RM 2000 I won't be able to get a laptop that is able to play new AAA games though just having the best with my budget is good enough. Currently I'm thinking of getting a laptop with an AMD Ryzen 5 7530U with the RX Vega igpu which is RM 2200 and I've seen Elden Ring run decently in 30 fps on an AMD Ryzen 5 7430U so I think it's good enough. Is that the best I could get or is there something better?
Preferably not a used or refurbished laptop since I want it to last as long as possible through my upcoming semesters though if the deal is too good and has a good warranty maybe I could think about it.
