Human-Service Adjacent Fin Jobs?

Ok so here’s the situation… since I can remember I always wanted to be a therapist. I love all things sociological and human-services-focused. But I ultimately set that aside for a finance degree. I thought that business was a safer choice. Now, as a recent grad, I find myself lost on where to go from here. Grad school is off the table for me. I’d like to pursue finance but not be divorced from human services but also not worry about money. I want to be able to make a real life impact on others lives. I was thinking something maybe healthcare related, specifically insurance. Or maybe credit repair. Something one on one, but idk.

What would you do? How would you get there?

Learning To Interview

I’ve always had a difficult time interviewing. For whatever reason I attach my self worth to the interview outcome and it’s as if it’s over before it started. I’m the kind of person that really understands things once everything is explained. I was the kid always asking “Why? Why? Why?”. I’m so over being passive in my career prospects. Are there books or YouTube/ influencers that you think would be a good fit for me?

What I’m looking for is someone who explains the purpose of interviewing and interview questions. I want to approach learning to interview like a scholar. I like lectures if that helps. Ty in advance!
