My 26M boyfriend’s coworker is reached out to me about him flirting and acting single at work, but when confronted he said that they are lying because he rejected her. Do people actually do this because they are butthurt or is she telling the truth..? She has tried to create a relationship with him but he turns her down. He did admit that while at work he is overly friendly and creates small talk so I am concerned on who’s lying. He has confronted her about lying but it’s like a he said she said situation. I’m just overly confused and just want advice from people that were once in her shoes and also mines.
tl;dr Do people lie to ruin a relationship when they get rejected
