So computer programs in the early 80s were not great, for example Chess Wizard was like 1600 rated, and software was like 1800 max, he was playing as White (I think) so a loss Is unjustifiable, worst you should do Is a draw, so yeah he Is a noob, probably he doesn't even know what EN passant Is. btw fun fact the original script ended with MacReady setting the Pieces for a chess game, and probably in a wrong position too
