I currently have a 13 inch 2017 MacBook Pro with 2.3GHz core i5 and 8GB memory.
I’m looking to upgrade as it’s performing poorly these days, very slow with limited battery life and starting to loose support for newest versions of apps such as lightroom as can’t update to newest versions of MacOS.
I largely use it for browsing/streaming, word/powerpoint processing as well as photo processing in lightroom and very occasionally photoshop. The photo stuff is just a hobby and very intermittent so wouldn’t need to be able to do that all day every day or in very large volumes.
What model would you recommend? Do I need another pro? Would be keen to stay as budget conscious as possible but at the same time don’t want to buy anything that’s not up to task.
Have seen some goof offers for 2025 macbook airs? Are these any good? What to make of the neo? Technology has changed so much in the decade since I last researched it all…
