Hey everyone, I’m pretty new to the Pokémon TCG world. I’ve mainly been interested in collecting cards, but I also want to learn how to actually play the game for the first time.

I’m looking for a beginner-friendly deck that’s fun, not too complicated, and good for learning the basics. I’d also like something that still has cool collectible cards/artwork since I enjoy the collecting side too.

I’ve seen things like League Battle Decks and starter products but I’m not really sure what’s worth buying in 2026.

What decks, products, or Pokémon would you recommend for a first-time beginner? Also any tips for learning the game or avoiding bad purchases would help a lot. Thanks!
