GPU – ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7 BTF White OC Edition (Cheaper than regular GPU, has same function according to ASUS representative.)
CPU – AMD Ryzen 5 9600X
Motherboard – ASUS ROG Strix B650-A Gaming WiFi (AM5)
CPU Cooler – Corsair Nautilus 360 RS ARGB Liquid Cooler (White)
PSU – Corsair RM850e (2025) Fully Modular
Case – NZXT H6 Flow

I’m planning to build a white ATX gaming PC that I can use for at least 4+ years throughout university. I’m hoping it can run demanding, realistic games at 75+ FPS at 4K or 1080p on medium or higher settings (e.g., Microsoft Flight Simulator 2022, ARK: Survival Ascended, Minecraft RTX).

RAM prices are pretty high right now, so I’m thinking of buying either used or the cheapest DDR5 I can find on Facebook Marketplace.

Do you think this build will last that long, and should I buy RAM now or wait?

Extra info: Without RAM, the total cost is around $2,850.78 CAD (~$2,059.20 USD) after tax. I was aiming for about $2,500, but I’m willing to spend an extra $500 if it means I won’t regret it later.

THANKS
