Wondering if there are any long time users of free CAD here and what they had to say about it. I feel like I typically see people talking about adopting free CAD but not too many people talking about what it’s been like for them as a seasoned user

My main curiosities are:

* what’s it been like trying to use your skills in the industry? As in, do you struggle finding a job? Is it hard to keep employees who might want to stay with solidworks / fusion360?
* Do you mainly do hobby projects or work professionally?
* what’s made you stick with free CAD so long?
* Do you contribute to the code?
* Do you ever feel like your projects are too complex for free CAD?
* What are you excited about?

* what’s been your biggest take away from using free CAD?

I’m considering doing cosmetology school but I’m curious how much work it is in terms of homework and in class work.

I’m willing to do any amount of work, as I’m really interested in cosmetology, But I just want to know in advance to plan my future schedule around it.

I’ve seen a lot of Tiktoks mentioning that there are really long assignments (about 5 hours).

Hello!

I wanted to ask if anyone had any suggestions for how to fix this huge crack in my headphone. Looking for a solution that isn’t too ugly (I tried using transparent scotch tape). The hard part is the fact that The part that is cracked needs to be able to move in the swivel once it’s secured.

Ive tried

- super glue

- scotch tape

If all else fails, I’ll just suck it up and try duct tape
