Recently, I bleached out my pink hair dye as I was struggling to find time to maintain the colour, and it was getting rather expensive.. this resulted in the PERFECT blonde base, although I found that it enhanced my blemishes and made my face appear extremely red.. in an attempt to fix this I ordered a toner online with the aim to achieve a milky, warm blonde! The predicted results on the packaging showcased a similar colour I had therefore I thought it would turn out perfect! I started off my applying the toner to my towel dried ends, up onto my roots, and let it sit for 10 minutes as the instructions stated; I didn’t use any shampoo to wash it out afterwards as it said I didn’t need to. Unfortunately, this toner made my fringe a strawberry blonde/ ginger colour, which obviously isn’t what I wanted?!! And darkened my ends a lot compared to my roots.
Could somebody tell me what I could have possibly done wrong, and how to lighten it without damaging my hair further please. I have college in two days and don’t know what to do, I’m really upset with these results and feel horrendous!!😭
