Italians of Cork - Che ne pensate della nostra cultura del caffè?

I drink tea religiously.

My wife is Italian and we’ve been in Cork for 1 year now. First time living in Ireland together after moving back.

The coffee, I’m told, is er… consistently bad in the cafes.

What do you guys think?

Any RHS members here?

I’m looking at becoming a member of the RHS, because I mainly use their site for advice and inspiration. I like their mission and approach to gardening, and seem the most impactful in Britain and Ireland at large. Plus, I like their magazine.

Two questions for Irish subscribers:

  1. will they deliver a paper version of the magazine in Ireland or is that for UK members only?

  2. does any of the money they get benefit the Republic in terms of their partner gardens?

Hi guys,

Looking for local knowledge of good beaches to head out to in preparation of a hot summer day. Did Myrtleville, Fountainstown, and Garretstown last year. Tried some other ones that were just awkward to get to and not as nice as in photos.

I’d like an easy drive max 1 hour and with good parking facilities, and a nice sandy beach.

Happy for anything you can recommend.
