Bell Put Me Through Hell 😂

Bell totally weaponized my loyalty against me.

I contacted them because Rogers was offering nearly half the price I was paying for mobility and internet. I called Bell, I even clearly stated during the call that I understood they might not match the competitor pricing exactly, and I was willing to pay a little bit more to stay with Bell, just not nearly double.

Instead, I somehow ended up in an even worse situation.

During the call, the rep made it sound like they were helping lower my costs. I genuinely believed I was getting a better arrangement and even thanked them afterward.

A few months later, I realized my bill had actually increased. Before the call, I was paying around $168/month. After the call, I was paying around $180/month, and on top of that, I later discovered I had been placed into a two-year contract. So now I’m getting trapped in a contract while competitor pricing remained dramatically lower.

I contacted Bell again to address the issue, and it became even worse. One call ended with me being disconnected after 45 minutes. Another agent showed little interest in understanding the situation and instead focused on warning me about cancellation fees because I was now under contract.

I ultimately closed my mobility account immediately to prevent further financial exposure. But now I have no real way to resolve this issue without paying penalties for a contract I never knowingly signed myself up for.

This is beyond embarrassing honestly.
