I need all your tips and tricks to keep fruit flies at bay. They are usually pretty bad once it gets warm here, and this is my first warm month of kombucha brewing. Unfortunately they have already arrived.

I currently have 1 sourdough cover thing covering the top, and another one sitting on top.
I have sticky traps set up around it.

I take fresh foods out to the trash can every day to cut down on that potential
I will be power washing my trash cans this weekend(they are right outside of my kitchen door)
I will be putting up sticky traps on the side of the door near the trash can

I’m just paranoid they are going to somehow get in and it’s freaking me out.
