Just curious what the more seasoned players feel are the best potions to take if you know you are about to get into a battle. I'm at Master Alchemy level so I can pretty much brew anything, but it's my first play through and I'm about half way through the game. Is there a recommended 'set' of potions that work the best? I'm not the greatest at the combat.... lol.
This is my first playthrough and I've had a few quests time out and fail me because I was doing other stuff. Why don't they alert you when you get a side quest in bold red letters or something .. 'This is a timed quest!'. I just failed Gallow Brothers because I was hunting for the Master Huntsman quest. It's almost like if you get a side quest you have to finish it right away or there is a chance it will fail. Weak sauce.
So I'm trying to knock out the Delicacies and Master Huntsman quests, I'm in a spot NW or the Glade Inn that is MARKED for Roe deer. I have seen them ONE time, was able to get one of the two, and in the hours and hours looking for them again, the 2 kidneys I got spoiled. I guess I either need to be told exactly where they definitely will be regularly, or just skip these stupid missions. I don't mind hunting , but tracking down elusive creatures that are not where they are 'supposed' to be is not fun.
