Wtf just happened? Is this a bug?
I was making a run at the final boss, I had attempted 3 or 4 times and had been very close. On this run everything was looking good, I was leveled up pretty high with good weapons. I go off to a side path and come back to the main room, and a solar cage starts, which is normal. Except outside of the solar cage is one of those red beacon things that heals all the enemies that you have to melee to break, and i cant get to it. I manage to clear all the enemies somehow, and then consort shows up and more enemies spawn. I have to fight consort who is auto healing throughout the whole fight. I have zero chance, hit him with a few overdrives, infinite power weapons, just heals instantly. Obviously I die eventually but how does the game let this happen? Its guaranteed death right?
