We don't know the name of the true savior of the Republic of Haven
We know the names of many of the people who saved the Republic. From Thomas Theisman to Eloise Pritchart, even including Barron High Ridge for agreeing to the peace treaty that stopped the RMN from rolling into Haven orbit.
But the TRUE savior of the ROH was never named, we never even saw them on page. It was the tech who programmed the seakers on the missiles before First Hancock.
If the missile was any better, it would not have lost track of it's BC target. If it was any worse, it would not have re-targeted onto Warlock. If Warlock was never hit, Young would not have fled, and the Conservatives would not have faught the declaration of war to keep him from being executed.
If that one missile had not hit Warlock, the RMN would have crushed all of the PRH before Pierre and the CPS consolidated their power. With no CPS, and the Legislaturalists already killed, the PRH would have probably fallen apart into many small or even single system nations. There would have been no Republic to save.
