So I have less than 400 miles on the engine and I was always told to change the oil after 1,000 miles during the break-in period. My Civic I changed the oil and rotated the tires every 5,000 miles until I was over 114,000 miles before giving it to my uncle. I never payed attention to the maintenance minder when it came to oil changes unless it was transmission and air filters. I’m not sure what to do with the CR-V and how all of that works. I want it to last me forever so I’m not sure what to do. Any suggestions?
