We need a licensing deal. Only thing that will pump Reddit

So in my opinion markets won’t rerate Reddit until it gets a licensing deal. Only then will market realise how important Reddit is for the AI revolution

Apart from that nothing changed with company solid numbers. It sucks how market is treating us but it is what it is

I came across a job posting at one of the companies who uses us as freight forwarder. The client itself is handled by a different branch not mine.

I was thinking of applying to it. But from legal point of view would that be okay or will there be some conflict of interest .

I don’t know maybe i am overthinking.

So was listening to the earnings call and everytime analyst asked about data licensing deal. Steve was dismissive, which kinda makes sense if your in active discussion and have things like NDA in place. But there was no hint of negotiations with google, open ai etc for renewal.

Although these data licensing deal are a small part of revenue for reddit. I feel like market still treats reddit stock as being disruped by AI in a bad way. When all LLM models are trained on reddit data. So i think data licensing deal will validate to the market how important reddit is due to AI and i think thats when reddit stock will get start getting repriced

Reddit spent $1 Million this quarter on CAPEX, yes ONE fucking million dollars and still grew Revenues +69% and earnings 31% YoY while maintaining a 91.5% gross margin, 7th consecutive quarter of 60% sales growth. Dont let META bulls see that they spent 1 million on capex lol

They made 660 million for this quarter and are guiding 60 percent revenue growth for Q2 they always sandbag guidance so actual number will be higher.

They now have almost 2.7 billion in cash depending on if they initiated the 1billion share buy back program form last quarter
