Hello! I’m new here, a friend told me I should ask Reddit for advice since we couldn’t figure it out ourselves.
I’ve got a 2003 cbr600 I bought with a faulty charging system. I was told of this when buying it but the seller said he didn’t know if it was the battery or charging system.
When first bought it was around 11v Idle and 11.5 at 5k rpms
-First I replaced the battery, which brought it up a bit
-Second I replaced the regulator/rectifier which brought it up to 12.80v at Idle and after holding it at 5k rpms for 15 seconds or so the max it reached was 13.20v
I had the stator tested by two different mechanics and they both said it was putting out the correct amount so I’ve got no clue what it could be.
Is this enough voltage or will it die after a few rides and any ideas on what it could be?
