Did I possibly have a seizure in my sleep?
Hi, I’m 17. I suffer from Generalized Epilepsy. I’ve had 2 Toni Clonics in my life, my first ever one with my family around with resulted in the ambulance being called and my second one when I was by myself early in the morning. Yesterday night I was up all night suffering from an ear infection I noticed that I had kept clenching my teeth and I just ignored it. I woke up the next morning after passing out and realized that I had blood in my mouth, I assumed it was from me clenching my teeth and told my mom that my mouth was bleeding from me clenching my teeth too much, she had asked me if I was sure I wasn’t having a seizure in my sleep. I said yeah I’m good but later I noticed that had bitten my cheek and that’s where the blood was coming from, my body was exhausted and I had slept literally most of the day away I didn’t get up really until like 4 something after being called lazy by my mom. I’m not sure if this was a seizure and if it is what should I do?
