Me and my bf are together for 5 years.
Mil is attorney, very intelligent and good in her field. In her personal relationships it is a total disaster. She is controlling and ambitious.
I observed something that my mil does, especially when I am around him. She is so affectionate with him. When she sees him she has this strange high pitched voice telling ‘my little kid’ ( I can’t find the exact translation) and starts hugging him. It is so cringe for me… when his grandma is around she is judging them lol. We are like laying down, she is going somewhere and she just literally starts kissing him on the forehead and hugging me and I just sit there and wait it pass. Usually she hugs me as well, but it feels odd.
She is obsessed with him ( he is the only child). She is divorced with my fil and she lives with another man for like 17 years. I can tell that she is kind of jealous that there is another important woman in his life. Usually when I do something wrong she is mocking me and when she sees that I am upset she tells me that this is a joke, that this is not serious and so on.
Or she is just trying to annoy me for no fucking reason.
But this behavior is annoying me.
Like girl he is a grown up 23 yrs man, let him live. She is suffocating him in my opinion.
Ow and btw- we just moved in in their house since the housings in our city are crazy expensive.

What should I do?
