I never thought a CPAP app notification would actually make me emotional.

Back in 2015, my sleep study showed:
- AHI above 90
- oxygen dropped to 61%
- very high BiPAP pressures required (21/17)

At the beginning, I honestly hated therapy.
The pressure felt intense, the mask was uncomfortable, and I struggled to get used to it.

Fast forward to today:
- I’m using an AirCurve 10 nightly
- averaging around 4-7 hours
- AHI usually around 3-7
- and myAir just gave me a “180-night streak” celebration with fireworks on the screen.

Sounds silly, but after years of dealing with severe sleep apnea, it actually felt rewarding.

I know some people think the streaks and gamification are cheesy, but honestly… for long-term CPAP users, especially those on high pressures, positive reinforcement helps.

If you’re new to CPAP/BiPAP and struggling:
it really can get better over time.

Curious if anyone else here actually enjoys the myAir streak/milestone or if I’m the only one 😂

I’ve noticed that when I increase both humidity and tube temperature, my nasal congestion improves a lot and my nose doesn’t feel blocked anymore.

I’m not really looking for advice — just curious:

Has anyone else experienced the same thing?

Did higher humidity or warmer air make a noticeable difference for you?

I’ve been using BiPAP for a long time, but only recently started using the heated tube (currently set around 26–28°C / ~79–82°F). I usually don’t like warm air, but if it helps with congestion, I don’t mind it.
