Since I want to be able to share the game with my friends in the future I decided to buy a physical version of Pokemon Pokopia. The problem is, even though the listing was for the correct region I ended up receiving a Japanese copy of the game. Here's my question:
The eShop listing for Pokopia mentions in-game purchases, which based on the example of DK Bananza (the only game I can think of right now where I know firsthand that this happened) implies that it will probably get DLC at some point. From another post on this subreddit I know that DLC bought on the United States eShop works on a Japanese copy of Pokemon Legends ZA, but I was wondering if anyone knows whether this would be the case for pokopia as well? (As an extra fact, if I go to options > Nintendo eShop it redirects me properly and the price is even dislpayed in my own currency).
