Is it just me or does my philo brazil look like a bowl of noodles? She's growing all sorts of ways.

She recently had a repot and a haircut because she was getting bald and leggy and she really exploded with growth. Same lighting and same water, nothing has changed on that front. I've also seen multiple growth points from the same node growing in opposite directions? I cut it off to propagate cause she was giving me the heebie jeebies.

Any reason this could be happening? Is she just destined to be ramen? Do I try to fix her or just embrace the weird?

Two alien plants

My kokedama babies. I've had my money tree like this for over a month and my staghorn has been like this for about a week.

They are both rescue plants from the clearance rack and are both putting out new growth!

I just love how the money tree looks like a tree growing out of its own planet. And the staghorn is just an alien plant anyways.

So it's been about 2 weeks since my original post and I said I'd post an update!

To recap: 3 cuttings with one leaf and one node, each in different mediums. The first pictured is sphagnum moss, then fluval stratum, then perlite. They're in the same water container fed with only distilled water under the same grow light.

So far, it seems the perlite and sphagnum moss are pretty close in terms of length, though it seems the perlite might be slightly ahead.

Will check back in another 2 weeks to see how much further along they have become!
