Sound only - descending and slightly electronic notes of a bird in Chicago, IL
I’m in love with this bird sound but I can’t figure out what bird it is! In this video, you can hear the bird three times (maybe four times?). It is a short series of descending notes that sound kind of electronic to me. It makes me think of a robot powering down or maybe a cartoon sound of something falling from the sky.
About 17 seconds in, you can hear the sound twice in a row.
About 42 seconds in, you hear it again. (It’s preceded by a similar descending bird sound, but I don’t know if it’s from the same bird.)
I haven’t been able to see the bird in action - so I don’t know what the bird looks like.
Taken in Chicago IL at about 7:30pm. I think I’ve heard it roughly every day over the past week or so. I’ve heard it in the mornings as well.
Any help would be appreciated!!!
