Hello all Bellingham Artists and Art enthusiasts!

Allied Arts of Whatcom County is hosting two small, facilitated community conversations at Hotel Leo to better understand what the arts community needs now and in the future.

We are inviting artists, educators, nonprofit leaders, business owners, and community members to help shape the direction of Allied Arts as we update our strategic plan. These conversations are designed to bring a range of perspectives into the room and strengthen the role the arts play across Whatcom County.

Location: Hotel Leo, Bellingham
Tuesday May 12 from 4pm to 6pm
Thursday May 14 from 6pm to 8pm
Space will be limited to support meaningful discussion, so please RSVP!

Light refreshments will be provided.

If you care about the future of the arts in our community, we hope you will join us.

Hello friends!

This May, we welcome all to stroll through downtown Bellingham and delight in the works of the younger art community! On Friday, May 1st, thousands of Whatcom County students will proudly display their works of art at businesses all around downtown. There will be a number of activities for both kids and adults to celebrate the arts in our schools, music, performances, and more. Art will stay on display for the first two weeks in May in honor of the statewide Arts Education Month.

Our opening reception is on Friday May 1st from 5 pm to 8 pm, and will feature poi spinning in the gallery and two puppet shows across the street at Hotel Leo! We hope to see you.
