Help with feeding a kitten that can't tolerate most foods.

I have a nearly 5 month old kitten that I've had since she was roughly 6 weeks old. She was a stray, so pretty much no background on her at all.

After about a week of having her, she started having bouts of vomiting and diarrhea. After many vet visits and medications, I realized it was the dry food that she was eating in between wet food meals.

At this point I've tried nine different brands and flavors of kitten food and she has only been able to tolerate one, sheba chicken flavored kitten pate.

Has anyone else experienced this with their kitten/cat? At this point I'm debating on whether I should continue testing foods with her because it must make her feel bad. On the other hand I worry that she could stop tolerating the sheba kitten pate or that they will change their formula, then I wouldn't have anything safe to feed her.

I don't know if it's necessary but just in case I'll list the foods I've tried so far below.

Purina kitten chow (chicken)

Science Diet kitten chow (unknown flavor as I was gifted just a Ziploc bag full from a relative)

Purine One Plus Healthy Kitten (chicken)

Friskies Gravy Swirl'd dry cat food (chicken and salmon)

9 lives Kitten Pate (oceanfish)

Sheba kitten pate (Salmon)

Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Kitten food (chicken)

Heartland Farms dry kitten (oceanfish, chicken, salmon, turkey)

And just an added note, it's not a scarf and barf situation. The vomiting usually starts about 4 hours after eating.

She is a roughly 6 week old female. We've only had her a couple days so we're still learning her personality, but she seems playful and sweet. I do like punny names ( ie. Dolly Purrton) but really just want something that fits her and I'm drawing a blank!
