Happy with this purchase. Already flash modded the iPod and swapped out the battery. This model suckssssssss to open.

After winning an auction for another Hi-Fi that didn’t charge iPods. I scored another one for $65. Needs to be cleaned, but this one works great! Had an old Apple remote in the junk drawer.

Any suggestions? I think it’s the SD card adaptor because the battery is not warm at all. Also, is it true you can massage out dead pixels? LCD has a few lines, not sure if it’s worth replacing. Thanks!

Super clean 5th gen (needs a new battery) and a nice little speaker. Any one familiar with the speaker? Altec Lansing inMotion iM7. Sounds okay, but I need a remote to control the volume.

I am trying to flash mod my 4th gen Classic. I’ve reformatted the sd card to FAT32. Once iTunes completes the restore, it asks me to plug into an external source. Is this where a FireWire plug comes in, can I use anything else? Or is my adapter wrong?

I just finished adding a new battery and 64GB cf card to this Mini 2. I think I enjoy using this more than my 5.5 and my 7th gen classic. Something about the monochromatic display and simplistic design makes it just about what you’re listening to and nothing else.
