So with the new showcase cycle only running on Tuesdays, we’re capped at 3 entries a week… which feels rough.
I’ve been back playing for about 18 months now (after quitting in 2017 and again in 2019), and I’m pretty active this time — level 75 and trying to grind out medals.
Right now I’m sitting at 37/100 for the showcase medal. Even if I entered all 3 every Tuesday and somehow won all of them, that’s still 21 weeks to finish it. Reality though: I’ve only won once in April. Keep getting smashed by random high-scoring forms like Exeggutor, Hoopa, Weezing, etc.
At this rate it’s looking more like 2 years… if I’m lucky.
At least with the old system you could enter multiple times a week and had more chances, plus it was Pokémon-specific so having an XXL actually mattered.
Anyway, bit of a rant… but is anyone else finding this as frustrating as I am?
