Alright, I'm at my wits end with this. I have an ASUS TUF laptop I've since 2020. Every Windows update has messed up the audio output for my headset, and I've always managed to fix it. Reinstalling drivers and restarting laptop, all that jazz.

New issue has arose. I did a mass driver update to fix other unrelated issues to audio.(Used CCleaner) Audio drivers just happened to be in the bunch during the update. Audio still works, but it doesn't recognize my headset anymore.
It doesn't make any sense to me and it sounds like a mess. If I plug my headset in before turning my laptop on, audio comes through the headset as a horrible quality compared to what it use to be. If I accidentally unplug the headset then plug it back in, my laptop doesn't register it and the audio comes through the speakers. I've tested this about four times and it's the same results.

So I went through the long process of uninstalling audio drivers and restarting to reinstall. Checked devices and even in the control panel. My headset is just gone all together and there's no way for me to be able to get the audio playing back through the headset unless I restart it every time.

I'm at a complete loss here on what to do, I've exhausted the options I know of. So, this is my last resort coming here to try to find help.
