Gave Virgin 30 days notice after they put my bill up while still on an offer with them. I was with them for years and paid €58 for 500mbs BB & 100+ TV stations. Which eventually went up to €80, and that was their "best deal" and I was told from my next bill it would go up €5.
I called them and told them I wanted to cancel and gave them 30 days notice. I got 1 call a week before the cancellation date, and was offered a worse "deal" than what I'm on now! I told them no. I signed up for Sky and got it installed yesterday! I then received a call from Virgin today offering me the best deal I ever got... €49 for 500mbs BB and 100+ TV stations. I was like yes please 😂. I called Sky and cancelled as I'm in the cooling off period..... Bottom line, don't be afraid to turn down their offers, they will always ring you back!
