Sorry I meant goopy coating on tool handles. Can’t seem to edit title. I found a set of very nice, small multi-tools like a Swiss Army knife and similar. Their grips were once probably a nice polymer soft enough to hold comfortably but in the heat of storage, they became super sticky. I tried boiling water, alcohol, vinegar, soaking for days, brushing. Heat gets it more clumpy. I haven’t tried acetone or the freezer yet. Any other suggestions? They’re better but it’s a slow process and I’m thinking there’s a solution out there
