I wanted to share this. My son and I were practicing bay parking in an empty car park, but the bays were quite difficult to see.

I was going to put simple markers on the corners, but instead had this idea, which ended up working brilliantly!

I collected a little pile of pine cones and put them along the edges.

What this meant was, in addition to the bay being now clearly marked, my son was unable to cut the corners, and was given the challenge of leaving all of those very crunchy pinecones intact while both entering and leaving the bay.

My son found this very helpful in understanding how he needed to manoeuvre, instead of simply getting the front of the car into position.
