PSA: Spam Posting

We just wanted to give a quick heads up, we've seen a recent influx of spam posts here in the last few days. Some of them came through like the T-shirt scammers. Some got properly blocked by reddit, like the gift card/ticket re-sellers.

We wanted to put out a PSA stating we're going to be a bit more aggressive about removing this content. That being said, we're human and we may make mistakes. If we remove content that you've posted that you believe is not in violation of our rules, please feel free to reach out to let us now. We are by and large just trying to squash scammers and spammers, not anyone's legit posts or comments.

But I suppose congrats are in order. The first person EVER banned from this sub happened today! 🎉

OFF-TOPIC TUESDAY (WK16) - Whats a movie ticket going for around you these day? AMC or not.

With the recent price change announcement this week, there's been a lot of discussion around inflation and value. One thing it does highlight is how wildly different the standard pricing is for different people in different parts of the country.

So simply put, what do tickets cost near you? What are the PLF bumps? How has that changed over time from your recollection?
