Hi all, I’ve upgraded my home broadband (with Vodafone) from FTTC to full fibre. The engineer visit is booked for a couple of week’s time.

Currently my telephone cable comes in at the back of the house and I’d like it to stay that way.

Can anybody advise on the following:

- Do fibre optic cables come off the telegraph pole?

- If not, do they dig up the pavement/front garden to bring the cable in off the street?

As this will help me decide whether to continue with the upgrade or cancel and stay with my current setup which I’m perfectly happy with, just that full fibre is faster and cheaper…
