An unexpected but very welcome member of my family
I was casually talking about getting a dog again, but leaning towards medium to large breeds as that’s what I’ve always had. Then a friend called to tell me about this little girl that a woman she knew was trying to rehome, for free. When I saw her pictures I fell in love, partially because she looks a lot like my senior kitty! Anyway, she’s been a wonderful addition to my house, and she definitely has big dog energy. This is Kimiko!
She’s 9.6 pounds of 100% pomeranian fury. While unfortunately her coat is a product of unethical breeding (she is a double merle, I’ve DNA tested), she is quite possibly one of the most beautiful pups I’ve ever seen. So far we don’t have any of the common health/ability issues typically present in double merle’s and I am very thankful for that. :)
