Starting (for real) my GW2 adventure, am I playing wrong?
So I pre-ordered EoD back in the days. My dad told me he was a huge fan of this game and let me try on his old account for a while since he hadn't played in forever himself, and I enjoyed it a lot, so I made my own account.
After buying EoD, I basically didn't touch the game once, at least until last week.
I made 2 characters, a revenant Charr to play by myself and a mesmer Sylvari for whenever I grt my friends to finally install the game too.
Currently my Charr is level 35 and, while I'm still having a lot of fun, I feel like I'm missing something. I see many players who, even with their level scaled down, they kill everything in like, 5 seconds, where it would take me 30.
Even when I did my first dungeon, I was watching the cutscenes, and by the time I was done watching them, my teammates had already killed most if not all the ghosts.
Is there something I'm missing? Should I be focusing more on crafting stuff? Am I not understanding how the revenant profession works? I am new to MMOs in general, so I guess that's a whole other thing too
