What do you love about kentucky derby the most?

The derby week is my favorite time in all of sports and it’s not just about the race. It’s the crazy hats, parties, huge crowds, and helluva lot of energy in Churchill Downs. This year feels super fun, because we have Commandment dominating, Renegade with great performance and all the great stories about trainers and jockeys. I know that for a lot of horse racing fans, it’s all about the race and betting, and I get it but the buildup and fanfare around it are one of my favorite things. Anyhow, what are your predictions for the race? I’ve made a couple of simple winner bets on Renegade on mybookie, a couple of props, and yeah, tried my luck with trifecta on Renegade, Commandment, and Further Ado but not expecting anything from it. A long shot really. Do you love all the fanfares and how do you normally spend Derby week? Oh and share your picks, curious who you’ve bet on)

I had been dreaming about Eva Lendel's Anna dress forever, like literally my dream dress. Then I got pregnant out of nowhere and we had to plan the wedding super fast, so that dream kind of went out the window. I was four months along and really didn't want the bump to show, so I looked for something from the same designer but looser, no corset. Ended up with the Anti dress. The back on it is just stunning, simple but with so much character. Guests kept saying they couldn't even tell I was pregnant. And the dream dress? We're saving it for our 10th anniversary 🙂

Married live is more mundane and not as exciting as when you’re just starting to date some. No shit Sherlock, I know. What I’m wondering is this: is it possible to bring back some of the magic of the first couple of months? You’re not trying to ‘win’ that person anymore, and lot of energy turns into responsibilities and work. Which makes sense but lately I caught myself thinking about how structured things felt back when I was on apps like Hily. Not saying that was better but it was intentional in a way everyday life doesn’t feel anymore... So yeah, I get that routine is normal, but how to get out of this autopilot mode?

I always end up keeping the most random apps, not the flashy ones 😅 Stuff I downloaded for one boring little task somehow becomes part of my everyday routine. For me it’s document apps. I first used Scanium just to scan one paper quickly, and now I keep using it for receipts, forms, signed pages, random notes, all that annoying little life admin stuff. Made me wonder what app did that for you? Not your favorite app in general, but the one that quietly became weirdly useful

Sounds weird but my friend got divorced after 2 years and was selling her dress. She told me exactly where to buy designer wedding dresses on a budget - sample sales, consignment shops, trunk shows. She basically gave me a whole education on the bridal industry's markup and how to avoid it. Her divorce became my wedding budget's best friend. Saved $3k thanks to her insider knowledge!

hi! I’ve been watching UFC occasionally for a couple years but never bet until recently. right now i just pick the fighter i like more, but i know that’s super dumb. What are the key things a newbie should look at? style matchups? recent form? cardio? weight cuts? damage? Also, how deep do you go: do you watch full past fight or just highlights? Any free resources or stats sites you’d recommend, because now I sometimes use mybookie and recently started checking lines on a couple of others platforms. Trying to move past ‘favorite looks good’ approach lol. all tips welcome!
