Built a small side project around decorative pieces for turntables
Hey everyone,
I just wanted to share a little side project of mine. I’m a hobby 3D designer and I also enjoy tinkering with different things in my spare time.
A while ago, I bought my first turntable (Dual 1225), and I thought it would be pretty cool to have some kind of decorative piece that simply rotates along with the record.
That idea eventually turned into my design line, SpinStyle. These are small decorative elements for turntables that spin while the record is playing. They all have a hole on the bottom for the spindle and are simply placed on top of the record. They’re not functional, really, more of a visual detail for people who like to give their setup a bit of extra character.
I liked the idea because listening to vinyl is already such a deliberate experience where you spend time with your setup anyway. This just adds a little more style to the whole corner.
