So i was given a raise and saw that I got a good raise however i saw it was only a 2 percent raise then i kept getting bigger paychecks
So this happened to me and once i saw the amount hadn’t changed I asked the accountant on staff, she said yup it’s the increase but it should go down after a few checks because we’re getting back pay, anyway three months pass and I forget because i have everything automated to save invest etc. I finally realize that still the same amount and I ask the director, director say oh yes that’s right you did get a raise that should be correct, I asked please look again because it looks like I had a 20k a year raise, she looks and comes back that indeed i was overpaid, i’m upset and told some friends about this and said I should have said anything but I mean eventually they would have caught on no? anyone experience this? I don’t even know if this is the right sub for this but genuinely asking if I should have just said nothing lol
