I 19M got close to a girl when we were in last year of clg and then we were just online friends for like 1-2 yrs and we used to talk daily. She would message, send reels, sometimes even flirt with me and talk about marrying in future and the conversation felt natural and consistent. Over time, I got attached. Recently, her behavior changed as she started going to new clg . She started replying very late after days , leaving my messages on delivered even when she was active not initiating conversations anymore not showing the same interest (no more reels, no curiosity about me) when i asked her whats wrong she just said she is busy with all day of clg and wants to rest so i just sent her reels but she got irritated by that too and said don't send i can't watch them i am busy I tried to understand if something was wrong before, but she didn’t respond well to me and seemed irritated giving reassurance and said 'how many times do i have to tell u the same thing' this was way before her behaviour changed not the present . Right now, our conversations are very dry (like 1–2 word replies every few days), and it feels like the connection has faded we didn't had any fight or anything. I’m confused whether: she has lost interest or if I’m overthinking and it’s just a phase. I also feel anxious and uneasy and stuck because I want clarity, but if i ask whats wrong I don’t know if i'll get a straight answer Should I ask her directly what’s going on and try to fix things , or just step back and let it fade? coz i always wonder if we both are thinking the same thing and she is waiting for me to respond.
