Hello everyone

Just looking for a little advice on a game I have been thinking of running.

Basically the premise is a medium sized group of mercenaries are tasked with defending a static objective. They would be responsible for setting up the defense and accounting for the gear and weaponry used.

My big hang up is how do some of you more long term GMs set up prolonged fights in PBP? I want to keep the fighting kinetic and lively so people stay engaged so I guess I’m looking for tips.
