Here’s the thing, we all know that calling the help services at Nintendo are so unhelpful. I plan on going to maybe an electronic center soon to find someone in person who might be able to help, but I thought I’d try here first.

Basically my switch, I go it when I was still a minor in 2018. It was made with an email and then there are two child account on it, mine and my sisters. (She’s not very relevant to this). Anyway, I’ve been using it forever ofc, and in recent years I’ve been trying to get access to account info that I can’t because I don’t know any of it. And now recently trying to buy a new game, apparently I can’t buy it without logging in thru a QR to my account?

So the thing is I have no idea what email was used for this switch when I first got it, don’t even know the password of the child ID accounts. It won’t let me even see the first couple letter of the email, only the child IDs which doesn’t help me ofc. So I feel like I’m at a stalemate here. Does anyone knowing a solution to this to be able to access any of this info anymore or should I call it quits with this switch? She’s a little slow, but not in bad condition. I know I can reset everything on it and make a new account so I don’t have to do this again, which would be totally fine, except ik that will delete my animal crossing progress and the game period as a whole, which was a lot of money. I have the progress on an SD card but I feel like that wouldn’t transfer that progress to a new account since I made it on my current account. My sisters offering her switch to me for re sale that has animal crossing on it, but idk if I could put my SD card in there and it would be fine

If you’ve read this far you’re a trooper bc I’m seriously looking for any guidance here.
